I had clear skies to image NGC-7129 then out of no were the Aurora Borealis lit up a surprise while the scope was going. Here’s some mobile shots I took and the Nebula NGC-7129 through the telescope during a Aurora.

Equipment:

Cameras: iPhone 15-pro for the mobile shots, Canon 60d for NGC-7129

Optics: Orion 8” 3.9f newtonian astrograph

Mount: Celestron AVX

Exposure Details: 70×4-minutes, 4.6 hours, ISO-1250
