About Image:
This breathtaking astrophotography image captures the Cocoon Nebula (the vibrant pinkish-red emission and reflection nebula on the left) nestled inside the constellation Cygnus. Stretching across the center of the frame is Barnard 168, an immense dark nebula made of thick interstellar dust that completely blocks out the background starlight, making it look like a shadowy river flowing through a dense sea of stars.
