NGC 225, affectionately known as the "Sailboat Cluster", is a loose, magnitude 7.0 open star cluster located roughly 2,200 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. Discovered by Caroline Herschel in 1783, this celestial target features about 20 bright stars that form a curved, sail-like shape.
